I have been an Early Childhood Teacher in the Hartland-Lakeside School District for 29 years…and I love it! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from UW-Madison and Mater’s Degree in Early Childhood Exceptional Education from UW-Whitewater.
I am passionate about providing my students with an exciting and engaging learning environment that supports language development and encourages exploration and interaction. I want to create an atmosphere that facilitates independence, success, and a love of learning. It is amazing to watch each child grow and achieve their goals throughout the school year and I am truly blessed to be a part of that!
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering, traveling, and doing anything outdoors!
My family and I came to the Hartland-Lakeside school district in 2014. Since then, I have slowly become more and more involved in the school. Not only will I be volunteering at Hartland North for various PTO functions, I am excited to be WORKING at North this year. If you come or call into the Hartland North office in the afternoons, you will likely be greeted by me. I have two children in the district, one at North and one at South. We love to attend school functions and help in the school forest when we are not busy playing at home or boating at our cabin. The fifth member of our family is our dog, Rocco, who likes to chase anything that comes into our yard. Come on over and give Rocco some fun!
This is my 16th year in the Hartland Lakeside School District. I graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and German. I went on to UW-Oshkosh where I received my Master of Education in School Counseling. In 2013 I attended Cardinal Stritch and obtained a Masters in Educational Leadership.
I live in the Hartland community with my three children who have all gone through the district. I enjoy traveling, reading, shopping and spending time with family.
I really enjoy my role in encouraging all the children to strive for their personal best. I am thrilled to be working with the students, teachers, administrators, and parents whom I so highly regard. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can help you or your child in any way.
Hello, My name is Gail Willey and I am a Learning Assistant at Hartland North. This is my fourth year in the district. My role is to provide reading intervention to students. I have been teaching for over 35 years as a special education teacher, program support teacher and 1st grade teacher. I have a terrific love for teaching reading, especially in the primary grades. I love the philosophy of Hartland Lakeside and working with such amazing staff, parents and students. So I guess you could say I have my dream job!!
What I love about teaching is no two days are the same! Every child adds something special and is so excited about learning. I have been with Hartland-Lakeside School District for 9 years as a parent and an employee. I have worked during the summer school sessions and in the Special Education Department. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Cross- Categorical Special Education at UW-Whitewater.
I have lived in Hartland for 15 years. My twin daughters are in 7th grade at North Shore Middle School and love going to school everyday. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, biking and downhill skiing.
