My name is Bethany Gariepy. I am a 4K teacher at Hartland North Elementary School. I graduated from Cornerstone University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and later graduated from Ashford University with a degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach preschool-sixth grade. This will be my 10th year working in the field of education.
I am passionate about helping young learners explore the world around them through hands-on learning activities, stories, science, and games. It is a privilege to be apart of the early years of their education.
Apart from teaching, I enjoy reading, baking, and nature walks. I live in Hartford with my husband, Chris. In our free time, we love to spend time with our six nieces and one nephew.
My name is Mrs. Jones and I teach 4K at Hartland North Primary School. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education – this certifies me to teach preschool through 3rd grade. I absolutely love teaching 4K and helping kids love their first school experience! I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin with my mom, dad, and brother. I am currently living in Eagle with my wonderful husband, Steve, and our silly dog, Merlot! In our free time, we love watching movies, going to the dog park, and fixing up our house.
Hi Hartland North and HFALA families, my name is Donna Linder but your kiddos know me as Ms. L. This is my 3rd school year as a Special Educational Learning Assistant but I’m excited to add 4K wrap around teacher to my afternoons now. I have worked with children for many years in a variety of fields. I have found working with younger children is one of my favorite ages. I enjoy interacting and engaging with your kiddo, providing opportunities for hands on exploration, creativity and socialization. I’m a mom to a 22 year old daughter who is on her own already. I tend to visit her more than she may like but she doesn’t let me know it, which I’m thankful for. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors hiking, walking along with photography. I enjoy music as well as reading and living in the country provides me a quiet environment to relax in.
I’m looking forward to another year of learning right along with your children.
My name is Elise Lofgren and I am a 4K teacher at Hartland North. In December of 2008, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This school year will begin my 8th year teaching, but my first year with the Hartland Lakeside School District. In my 8 years as a teacher I have taught both 4K and Kindergarten. I love teaching the early grades and providing students with their first learning experiences.
My husband and I, along with our dog Gus, moved from the Madison area to Slinger over the summer. We have also spent time living in Oak Creek and Fort Worth Texas. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, going to movies, and reading.
My name is Megann Schnickel and I am a 4K teacher at Hartland North. I have been at North since 2014, but I have taught 4K for nearly 8 years. I graduated from WCTC with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I earned my Bachelor Degree from Cardinal Stritch University in 2014. My degree certifies me to teach children age Birth – 3rd Grade.
I love teaching 4K, as no two days are ever the same! I enjoy helping small children to feel comfortable with their first school experience. I love to watch them discover new ideas and experiences in science, literature and numbers. The joy of learning starts early and I am honored to be their first teacher!
Outside of school I live with my husband and two sons in Menomonee Falls. My boys love baseball and when we are not on the Little League field – we are at Brewers games together! If we are not busy with sports or music lessons – we love to spend time outside camping and traveling to new places. We also have two dogs who keep us on our toes and many chickens that we care for too!
I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you to 4K and to Hartland North!
